Boğaziçi University Turkic Studies Club (BÜTAK) was initially founded in 2015 as the Boğaziçi University Turkic Studies Society (BÜTAT) by a group of Boğaziçi University students who wanted to organize events in the field of Turkology.

After years of bureaucratic struggles, BÜTAT finally achieved its deserved status as an official university club and became BÜTAK in 2024.

Since its inception; our club has organized numerous events, bringing together prominent figures from academia, the business world, and the bureaucracy to engage with the Boğaziçi University community.

BÜTAK pursues its activities with a motto that everything related to Turks and Turkicness lies within its domain, aiming to become the collective sanctuary for all Boğaziçi students who cherish Turkic culture and identity.
